Social impact and social investment
Involved in the origination of funding concepts using social and impact investing, the use of pioneering pay for success/payment by results approaches in a number of sectors and working with providers, commissioners, intermediaries and investors, TSAP has a wide ranging perspective, expertise and network across social and impact investing. With a particular focus on creating transatlantic and international social/impact investment projects, we are active in a number of sectors.
Justice reform and offender services
TSAP’s team brings a rich history of working across the justice sector in providing services to offenders and ex-offenders. Our expertise includes innovation in through the gate services for offenders, reforms to education and learning, change management in probation & custodial services, improvements in the provision and integration of health/mental health services, financial literacy support and alternative models of custodial sentencing, as well as familial repatriation programmes.
Health and social care
Our team has extensive experience across many areas of the healthcare system. From pioneering community based preventive health services to board level experience of managing primary care systems, TSAP seeks to focus on supporting those organisations innovating in social care and integrating services at a local level. Our associates and SMEs bring deep experience of innovation and the development of integrated social services at locality level.
Skills and vocational education
TSAP’s principals and associates have worked in the delivery, commissioning and policy design of vocational services in a number of countries. Spanning the development of services for children aged 13-16 outside employment and education, designing and delivering programmes for 16-24 year olds, supporting the development of higher level vocational services and engaging adults in the workplace in continual skills development TSAP brings a wealth of expertise. As operators and advisors – supporting mergers, finance raising, strategy development and turnaround with client companies, as well as facilitating government policy making in vocational provision – TSAP is well placed to support clients from different parts of the market.
Social assistance in developing economies
Knowledge transfer, sharing best practice and innovation are core capabilities that TSAP brings to its client base. Core to this is the experience TSAP has in supporting the development of services in emergent economies. With expertise in the development of supply chains, capacity building and skills programmes in India, poverty alleviation and education provision in Pakistan, advising on the integration of employability into professional skills programmes in Asia and the Middle East, as well as working with the operators innovating in employment and skills in a number of developing countries TSAP is well placed to work with clients across a variety of service areas.
Further and Higher Education
TSAP’s work through its advisory team includes strategic planning and assessment, turnaround and refinancing, operational review, new service design, partnering and co-venture development, customer service operating model redesign and development of philanthropic and donation strategies. We have a particular interest in the development of higher level vocational programmes, access to further and higher education by disadvantaged populations and better integration of academic, vocational and employment related services with wrap around advice services.
Employability and social assistance programmes
Our team have been involved in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of active labour market programmes for over 25 years. With experience globally, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, India and South Africa we can support clients in developing market entry strategies. Consumer expertise includes developing innovative provision for young people, people with disabilities and health conditions, older workers, gender programmes and those furthest removed from the labour market.

The golden thread linking this group of people to work together is a desire to create novel, long term, scaleable solutions to persistent societal problems. Given our collective background, we are motivated to take on projects that have a clear line of sight to contributing to the SDGs and continuing to measure our work in assisting clients towards the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We have aligned the sectors where we work to the interests we have in the SDGs.
